Cuteness, functional and some of the features tell us all - USBee had a cooling system, ergonomically shape with elastic neck and a detachable protective cap that snaps onto the back end of the device when not in use. This design by Damjan Stankovic just won the first prize at the MS Industrial USB Competition held by the Serbian Design Community forum DizajnZona™. Will not go into production in near time.

On a rainy season, the things that maybe come out the first place in our mind is where to find an umbrella and how to avoid getting soaked. And the inverting and breaking of the umbrella doesn’t help either. Well, here’s a great solution for you I think.

This design called Nubrella and its not like other usual umbrella. The Nubrella perhaps not as aesthetically valuable, but it seems the perfect solution for some of us on raining day because practically to use Nubrella you don’t need your hands to hold it. Even you can still use Nubrella on a bike. The design isn’t only a concept. You can order it for as little as 59.95 dollars.

Did you know the life cycle of a plastic bags are more shorter than other things that can be found in your home. From the shop to your home and lastly the plastic bags can be found in your recycle bin. But designer Jieyu Design just come out with an eco friendly idea that used and recycle the plastic bags to create a Plastic Bin. This design aim to look at the things that are “useless” and “thrown away” and to reuse them.

How it made? Plastic bin is made with many layers of plastic bags. By ironing them together, the thin plastic bags gains structural strength and am able to stand as a dustbin. In Singapore, plastic bags are used as carriers of products and then as trash bins hung at the back of doors. By giving the plastic bags more structural permanence, it’s secondary function as a trashbag is reinforced. The ironing treatment is also a way of consolidation of plastic bags for future recycling.

With this idea, you can turn a thousand of plastic bags like this and reuse it as a recycle bin below. Actually we can take part to safe our green planet with this simple idea.

Nokia Research Center and researchers at the University of Cambridge have teamed up to create a joint nanotechnology concept called The Morph. Nokia has again seen the future of handsets and this time they design it to fit the contours of your palm. Morph, a joint nanotechnology concept, developed by Nokia Research Center (NRC) and the University of Cambridge (UK) just launched today.

Morph, as it is appropriately named, is comprised of flexible materials that can be reshaped on the fly to create a variety of drastically different forms. It should be clear that the design is entirely conceptual at this point, illustrating how future handsets may be capable of transforming to accommodate different usages.
