Blogging, Technology Me and Analyzing Modern Design

Archive for the ‘Google’ Category

3 weeks ago when new page rank update occur many of the new site get promoted and some get the PR downturn. While reading Andrew Ooi blog today, I notice that Andrew already compiled a short list of local Malaysian blogger that get the PR slapped by Google - where the little green bar turn up white than before. 5xmom blog also get slapped again, this time make 5xmom send a white flag to Google with a little testament.

This time chaos maybe created by paid per post entry, where Google seem penalizing sites that mention the words PayPerPost, PPP, PayU2Blog and other sacred words for this PR update. Before this, Google just penalizing sites that sells text link, now they turn for a blogs that mention this words. Below some text I clipped from IZEA blog.

From the IZEA blog.

If you have been hit by Google unfortunately there is little we can do. We know that Google PR does not reflect your actual traffic and it is sad that Google chooses to over look that to protect their own bottom line. We now know from some of our friends inside of Google (thanks “bob”) that they are now looking for phrases such as PPP, PayPerPost,ReviewMe, Payu2blog, etc. in the text of your post. For that reason I would suggest refraining from using any type of this text in the body of your posts, sponsored or not. When you disclose thank the sponsor, not PPP.

The question is;
1- Should you forget the Page Rank and keep on blogging, or
2- Forget Google and the Page Rank , or
3- Forget all the money making (PPP, PayPerPost,ReviewMe) because Google don’t like the words, or
4- Write as usual all the PPP, PayPerPost,ReviewMe and other entry, because if I stop writing all the post, who will feed my Children.
5- Don’t do anything.

I don’t know my blog, will get another update or not because majority of the pay per post entry I write on my other blog. Let wait and see!!!
