Personal communication devices are becoming smaller and smaller everyday, and still they manage to be jam packed with more technology than you can shake a stick at. But how will PCDs look in the future? Will they be small enough to fit into the fifth pocket of your Levis?

Collaboration between Propeller Inc. and True Inc., Thailand’s leader in telecommunications, have put their heads together to come up with a answer to this question. Their concept for a new communication device, the True Wearable, is a high-tech wrist-watch that would include video chat capabilities, GPS locator, an internet browser, and enhanced gaming systems –perfect for teens who are in constant need to know “where ya at”, and whose penchant for portable gaming systems is insatiable. As of yet, technology cannot accommodate such a compact size, but True and Propeller are giving us a glimpse into the future. Once these products roll out, keeping connected will be as easy as a flick of the wrist.
