Do you ever see skater wear a complete protective gear such as helmet, elbow pad or knee pad in their activities, not to often I think. When skater wear a protective gear can be uncomfortable and give the wrong image when nobody else is wearing it. Protective gear, at times, seems unimportant. Concern about skater life and really want to minimize the skaters injury, Designer Ravi Itiravivong designed Cali Hoodie. Cali Hoodie actually function as safety apparel for skaters with integrated protective pads just to protect skaters deal with gravity and speed when “goes down”. In the same times the skater able to move and be flexible, and do tricks comfortably.

This hoodie has openings on the shoulders and elbows where the custom-made protective pads can be inserted. The lightweight compressed brace material on shoulders, elbows and wrists also allows flexibility. Cali Hoodie is worn as a piece of clothing, and functions as safety apparel when on skates. The goal of this design is to start a new positive trend for skaters that is the important of safety.
