The winner of Red Dot Design Concept Award 2007(domestic aid category), Broom Broom Magic Broom (Vacuum Broom), was designed by Song Won June. According to the designer The Broom Broom Magic Broom is a two-in-one piece of cleaning equipment that will cut down the time spent on domestic chores - this special broom function will help home user a lot in their cleaning job.

Vacuum cleaners are designed to clean dust only. They are not useful for cleaning larger pieces of dirt. Brooms, on the other hand, while easily capturing larger articles, lack the performance of the vacuum cleaner in removing fine dust. What if we could gain both benefits from the one implement?

The Broom Broom Magic Broom combines two great benefits from the vacuum cleaner and the broom, to create a ‘vacuum broom’. Each hollow brush strand has an individualised vacuum hole at its base, through which dust is vacuumed while the brush strands sweep up the larger pieces of dirt.

The recharger cradle is a dust pan that stores the product neatly and tightly. Broom Broom Magic Broom is a ‘Digilog’ (Digital + Analog) product that doesn’t interfere with the daily environment. It offers convenience and it saves time.
