This is the second article following my first blog post Why Statistical Data’s Important In Your Blog Development. In this article I will include 6 things that you can learn from your site statistics. Question; how you use all the stats and how all the stats help you?

1. Search terms that other use to discover your site.
There are several ways your site visitor discover your site, one of them is the keywords or search terms that other use to get to your blog. Various search terms can bring other and traffics to your site and you should know which one are the most appropriate search terms that could bring the most traffic to your site. For an example, Analyzing Modern Design is the number one search terms that bring traffics to my blog Blogging, Technology Me and Analyzing Modern Design. Other such as Technology Me or Modern Design Blog is the best search terms that bring traffics to my site.

To make other discover your site, firstly you must get “know” your site. Here you should know which search terms or keywords that bring most traffic to you, then you will know what to do next. That is what I do with my site statistics.

2. The blog top source referrer.
If you using Sitemeter maybe you will notice the referral function that you can use to track all the traffics sources. With the stats functions you can track your blog top source referrer and get know the source. Why you should know and track your blog top source referrer? The answer pretty simple; if you know the source that sends your site some traffics maybe you can reciprocate a link back to that site or give the site some link love just to say “thanks”.

Don’t steal other content or image if you don’t know how - because it’s easily can be tracked back to the original sources. You should keep that in your mind. Complete stats data will easily can track down these content thieves.

5. Get knows the reader actions.
If you using Google analytics, MyBlogLog or Sitemeter stats tool sure you will know what the reader doing when they visit your site. What they click and which post make them stick on your site. A good stats tool can help you get know which landing page reader comes to your site, from the landing pages are they browse to other pages or are they coming and immediately exit.

6. Get knows the popular days and times the reader will come to my blog.
Through the stats sure you can analyzed the most popular days and times reader will comes to your site. With the stats data you can set your posting schedule to make a post.

Times To Take Action.
There are so many things you can learn and take advantage with all the stats data. Don’t just waste you whole day checking all the stats only for how many hits your site receive or how many site visitors your site get. Better way is you do a complete analyzing for all the stats categories. Sure you will find something useful.
