There are a lot of great articles and advice out there regarding how you can make your blog sticky and impress other to read your blog. Actually I read almost of these articles if I don’t missed one. Did you know to impress other read the article that we produce are hardest thing to do I think. Like other reader I will only read an article that really impress me - maybe from the headlines, the post readability or because the article really attracted to read.

To impress other there are lot of works to do, start from your blog design, headlines/title choosing, blogging topics that you choose and many more must be considered. Below some of the tips that can be implemented to start impress other and make your blog sticky.

1. Be more unique in topic.
Do you ever wondering why there is so much free information online? And why there are so many blogs that talks about tips on blogging, make money online and technology blog. Why such topics so popular in the term of blogging. For a new blogger, there is advice that says you should avoid these popular topics because it’s already saturated with established expert. Is that true.

Actually, I agree with the fact that all the blogging topic, technology or make money online had their own expert that already show their credibility. But you can create this kind of blogs if you can be more unique than other blogger. The rules is you must present the information in a way that someone never done before - other words you offering unique writing style with unique way of story telling. If you can be more unique than other sure you can create a great blog and impress other to read your blog.

2. Be relevant to your visitor.
If you write about blogging, modern design or technology topic please make sure you are not going too far with other random topics. If you going too far with other random topics you will make your visitor unclear which blogging topic that you’re on to. What you can do is please make sure that you’re relevant to your visitor. Relevant to you visitor is you must write about the topic that you masterized and know that other can turn to your blog for certain information.

3. Use beautiful photo on blog post.
There are different ways that can be use too spice up your blogs and attract readers attention. The use of great headlines, scanable list, a pullquotes or blackquotes, interactive video or a dummy image. All the ideas are to grab your reader’s attentions. A beautiful photo also can help you impress reader to continue reading and explore your site.

The best way to use images is by knowing what your story all about, make sure the image that you use in the right mood and time - here you should use strategically image placement. Please also make sure you know the right size of images that suitable for your blog layout, you also can use ALT tag for all the images for better images searching. For an example - if I write about make money sure I want to include some “money picture”. It’s not suitable to put “nude” picture in the post, unless you want to use that picture as bait. 4. Professional blog design.
Often a successful blogger draw reader attention with their professional blogs design. Where all the design are totally different from other blogs, which make them stand out from other normal bloggers. Normally they will customize the blog appearance from the blogs layout, design and templates. All the design and appearance also affect the level of success of your blogs. For me visitor first impression will be your blog design, it’s your “house” where the first landing page is your design.

Top blog usually had a clean design, more professional look where the design enhances the content. If they put an advertisement, all the advertisement on the right section and placed strategically and will not distract visitor attention - don’t make other call you a Wallmart Of Ads just because of advertisement that you use. 5. Create a good content.
Good blogs content is a “writing skill call to action”. Here you can encourage, give incentive, bait your readers and push them to read your blogs content. Even you offering the same content as other blogs, but the way you elaborate the ideas give your reader more satisfaction.

To create good content blogs, you should “hit big” if you mastered the topic. Give your readers the best explanation with great story teller attitude. Sure the reader will remember you and spread about your blogs to their family, member and community. Hope so they do it. Here you can brand your blog, where you can gets known - your blogs will gets know for a reason that will be your blogs content.

6. Create a value.
To start impress other you can first build your blog with a value. Try to give a good value to your readers either by your content, post or design. Why “value”? For me a good blogs “value” will make other love you and feel needed to you. It’s great to create a value blogs. Don’t ever target to monetize your blog in 1-2 when you start blogging, just focus to give a value first.

7. Must update
Blog update it all depends on your writing consistency, how often you post and how long should your post be. Not necessarily you need to write 3-5 post everyday, but to be a good blogger - updated your blog often is a best way to keeps your blog alive. Good blogs don’t take a month full holiday or off-day. If you consistently updated your blog, all the loyal readers will stick to your blog and keep on coming just to see what next you produce. Also please avoid all the mistakes that make most of new blogger fail.

8. Try to brand your blog.
You maybe worked hard to produce a well written article where you will put all your effort, time and use most of your energy just to produce a best article. Then you should make something to let other know about that article and your blog existing. Here you should consider branding your blog where everyone should know about it. How you make it depends on your ability.

Branding is like give your blog an authority. Let say you a good writer in a field of making money online - with great tips, great trick, informative and had a sense of free online guru. The readers know you are the source that can help them make money online with nice tip, trick, informative and most of all free. Here you already developed the authority where your readers know if they want to find related source for making money online. You will be their unofficial source of reference.

9. Encourage more conversation in the blog.
Interacting with your reader or visitors are important subject in blogging, it’s more important for blogger that don’t have a huge reader base. Making the reader stick to your blog and encourage the few visitors to stay loyal read your blog are hard to achieved, but there is a way to do that. The first step to becoming bigger and more popular blog is to encourage more conversation in the blog. Ways to encourage more conversation in your blog, answer and reply the email that their send to you, answer the comments if your reader give one or answer the blogging question that being forwarded to you indirectly or directly. For me there are different ways you can use to encourage more conversation in your blog, you can choose with one better for you.

10. Be controversy.
Best way to gain attention and stand out from the crowd is to be the first to report and write about current controversial issues. As soon as you’re done writing you should let others know it. If you be the first to write about certain issues sure you can stand out in bloggosphere, there is no need to be a newspaper writer just to digg out all the new controversial issues. Just enough be the one that can digg all the newest topic on the net and blog about it. It will work if you be on the right place on the right time.

When you are the first to write the controversial issues you already create a “buzz” and attention. Use your creativity try a link bait or something new.
