There’s a lot of advice out there regarding how to make your blog stand out. Sometimes I feel Blogging is a hard job for me, to create a stand out blog with sticky content another hard job to do. Did you notice there are hundred even thousand new blogs created everyday. There are so many blogger out there, can you survive or can I survive with this daily blogs growth. All the blogs talk and write almost the same thing - from the blogging tips, technology, gadget and other. Can I survive with all the same content?

Actually in today post I just want to highlighted 6 tips that can make our blogs stand out.

1- Be the first to write about controversial issues.
Best way to gain attention and stand out from the crowd is to be the first to report and write about current controversial issues. As soon as you’re done writing you should let others know it. If you be the first to write about certain issues sure you can stand out in bloggosphere, there is no need to be a newspaper writer just to digg out all the new controversial issues. Just enough be the one that can digg all the newest topic on the net and blog about it. It will work if you be on the right place on the right time.

When you are the first to write the controversial issues you already create a “buzz” and attention. Use your creativity try a link bait or something new.

2- Spice-up your blog with some images.
There are different ways that can be use too spice up your blogs and attract readers attention, you can make a great headlines, a scannable list of content, using all the free keywords tool and strategically use pictures or multi-media on your blog. Take note that I emphasized on strategic use of the images or graphics only, not stupid images posting in all post. Some bloggers had a tendency to post a lot of pictures on their blog because they don’t have anything to write, but too many image will makes your site downloading slower. Should this happen, your visitors might not have enough patience to wait for your blog to finish downloading, don’t make them navigated away because of this matter.

Use pictures and videos only when it is necessary and when it’s useful - you can find thousand of free stock images if you know how. Normally, bloggers use pictures and videos to emphasize their messages to their readers. And it has been proven that pictures and videos improve the appeal of your blog to visitors. If you already advanced, try to do a podcast interviews - where you can use your own voice in the interview, podcast interview can increase your authority in blogosphere.

3- Write you own blog articles in series.
Most bloggers, if you have noticed write articles in a series. This is an effective strategy when you write a good article because your readers will be waiting for the next post. They maybe will come back to your site for updates. Just remember to intensify suspense as you go on with the next post. If you are writing about long blogging tips topic on your blog, you can separate the post into 2 section and make your own series of article with it. If you create your own blog article in series, easily you can turn the article as your pillar content.

4- Offer something useful, fun and different for your readers.
Blogging no just about writing, its also about how you interact with your readers. Aside from the articles that you write on your blog for your readers, you should also offer something new to attract attention. You may offer free software or ebook download just for your reader and subscriber. Other way is to organize your own blog contests, where all your reader can participated - you don’t have to offer a expensive price, enough offering a free short review and link back to your site for the winner. These activities not just fun but can make your blog more sticky than before. Other that that, you also can make your own site poll with these free online polling sites.

5- Get a unique domain name for your blog.
One simple way to get noticed is to have your own domain name. If you are using a sub domain from Blogger or Wordpress it will be very difficult for you to branding you own blog. Best way is to get your own domain name, a name that other can remember.

For me there is no need to get a domain name that related to the nature of your blog - but if you found one, grab it first. But before buy any domain name, make sure you make some research for best domain name that can branding your blog. A good domain name is the name that readers easily can remember. Choosing a domain name is as important as choosing a name to be given to a person. So think carefully of the best domain name for your blog before you purchase one.

6- Build own networking.
Use social networking to get connected with other bloggers that have same niche content and interest with you. Give a visit to other fellow blogs, leave a comments can simple help you build a networking. Join MyblogLog or Blogcatalog to get know other bloggers. I make myself to join the big community blogs in MyBlogLog, browse the entire member there and give a visit to other blogs, give a comments if the topic really interesting. Worth to digg these social network river.

The tip to success with these social networks is you must participate and get know all other users not only promoting the site in your blog or sidebar. As a new blogger, I actively use this kind of strategy to make some friends and by the same time I use this method as a key to attract new reader to my blog.
