Blogging, Technology Me and Analyzing Modern Design

Today Nuffnang receive a huge coverage by TechCrunch when Duncan Riley writes about unhappy Nuffnang publishers. The post actually cover-up about the S$1 (RM2.30) administration charges when you withdraw your earnings.
Why the $1 charge be the big topic.
Actually the S$1 administration fee seems irrelevant to be a topic, but local bloggers are unhappy due to the way it was imposed: with no announcement and only discovered when they went to make withdrawals from their Nuffnang accounts (unlike Adsense bloggers can withdraw money from Nuffnang on request). A number of a prominent local bloggers have said that if they knew there was going to be a fee to withdraw money they may not run Nuffnangs code, and would have used Advertlets exclusively (who don’t charge the fee). There’s even a blog dedicated to why Nuffnang will fail. Read more at TechCrunch.
Actually this is small cases that had a big impact to the first local ad network. Why? Negative talk just around corner, if the first local ad network can’t serve just a small amount of local advertiser how come it can expand the ads network to Worldwide audiences. That is a bigger concern for Nuffnang I think. I think Nuffnang must consider all the local bloggers feeling, without bloggers - Nuffnang are nothing.
Actually, I’m not Nuffnangers anymore.

Eventhough I contacted them many time, but it’s to no avail. I really don’t know why.
Anyaway. I do rambles about their services on my blog. I personally think Nuffnang is merely a SCAM.
