I just stumble an amazing, yes amazing work by Brian Dettmer to perform a book autopsies - I call it book autopsies because all the book that get into the hand of Brian Dettmer will be like the pictures below.

Dettmer work like an experimental surgeon, meticulously slicing and cutting around illustrations and words inside the book’s body, removing parts of thin paper skin until what’s left looks like the book’s skeleton.
