Every webdesigner needs icons once in a while. To make beautiful icons it’s takes times so being able to find good stock icons can reduce development time a lot. Here two icon search engine that you can use to find free icons for any use.

IconLet.
IconLet.com allows you to search for free icons. All icons in this search engine are under either GNU or Creative Commons licenses (see all licenses used). Basically these rules state that the icons are free and can be used in your projects, you can also modify them if you need to. You can use it in free or commercial projects. Please read the rules in detail for what you can do and cannot do with these icons.

Iconfinder
The other one is Iconfinder , I think this icon search engine much better than Iconlet. Try use it for yourself. Iconfinder is a simple, elegant icon search engine that’s easy to use, and has tons of icons in its database. All icons are licensed with either Creative Commons, GPL, or LGPL.
