How often your blog received spam comments, in the past 2 month blogging I already received some spams comments. Because of that I’ve decided to categorize some of these spam comments by it’s type - all these spams comments are tracked by reference.

The Anchor Link Spam Comment
Blog comments form usually consist four basic text field; (1) name, (2) email address, (3) site URL point to your blog, (4) comment field. The anchor link spam comments use the URL field to insert the spamvertised URL to the comments. Usually this type of comments are short and consist 3-4 words, such as, “nice point”, “Good Post”, “Thanks for the info”. Somehow this is the smart method because the author will ignore such comments.

The obstrusive spam comments
I really don’t like this type of comments, sure you so already received it. This comments also consist list of keywords but rather than anchor link keywords it’s usually consist hundred of spammer keywords that link to other sites. This is brute force method.

Modificated obstrusive spam comments
This is modification of obstrusive comments and not to common yet. Usually the comments content will consist 3-4 keywords link combination embedded in anchor text. These anchor text link also pointing to useless spammer site.

Bold text spam comments
Old style where some keywords will be highlighted in bold, nothing much to hope for, just a bold keywords.

Sex maniac spam comments
Some of the good way of comments to promote yourself. In your comments put some sex keywords, usually it’s consist an entertaining sex keywords to attract readers attention.

Example - “Hei fucker this a spam article faking”

How recent you received spammer comments in your blog, actually all these spammer are brilliant enough to get pass all spam plugin that you use. Don’t hate them!!! Give some link love..
